Initiate Update

This function is good when your system has been auto updated with a new TLMC listing (You will be notified). PLEASE BACKUP YOUR AIRCRAFT DATA (via the ALT-T function). Now that we have the formalities out of the way, we can proceed.

The Processor requires one things to operate:

The journal needs to be active.

The first screen you see is a warning to save all of your aircraft data. This is the data from the Aircraft list. Next, you are asked if you are ready to proceed.

The processor will update every aircraft in your list and apply updated data to modify the TLMC’s as required. If an inspection interval changed from 500 to 600 hours the TLMC will be updated and so will the TIMEDUE on that item. The journal records everything that it modifies. If a TLMC item has been outdated, it will go into the Deleted list. Any item that was in your deletion log will remain.

If someone thought "I can just remove the TLMC item from the Deletion log, and no-one will ever know," WRONG. The data will reappear once you run the Processor.

Should anything drastic happen during the process just reload your saved aircraft data and all will be returned to original.

In the Journal the errors were recorded. The UOM (Unit of Measure) were changed manually at the aircraft and not the master TLMC.
