Password Menu

Opening this menu item will provide 3 options. To use this menu your security level needs to be at level 30.

•Assign a Password

Enter the employee’s payroll number followed by the [ENTER] key. The next field is the actual password field. This field needs to be at least 5 characters minimum and it should be something that the employee might actually remember. Before you assign (as a supervisor) a password it would be nice to ask the individual what he/she would like. After entering the required fields follow the prompts at the bottom of the window to save the information.

•Change - Password

Only the employee logged in has rights to change his/her password. So, after the supervisor has given you your password you are free to change it anytime desired. The only restrictions is that your supervisor give you temporary level 30. Having done this you are free to login and change your password. The two field must match exactly and be a minimum of 5 characters in length.

•Security Editor

This menu item has three (3) fields

ENUM - Employee Number

PASSWORD - Password

SL - Security Level

There will be an ENUM of 00000 that you need to leave alone. This special number identifies your computer to the Regional Manager and/or the main Office computer. The Field PASSWORD is covered with asterisks (*) for security reasons. The SL field is where you can put your different security levels in. Only one should be at level 30. To change a level just type in what you want the employee to have followed by the [ENTER] key. The three levels of security are 10 for mechanic, 20 for lead man and 30 for the supervisor.
