This is another easy screen to work with. Highlight the part you want to transfer out and press [ALT-T]. Enter the aircraft serial number and the amount used. This dialog will also want to know the base number that the part is being transferred to. There are a couple noteworthy items.
1.You cannot transfer out more than you have showing in stock
2.There must be at least 1 in stock before the screen will come up
3.If you are scrapping a part enter the following as a base number:
Consumable - 699
Repairable - 570 (and send to Madison)
When you transfer a part an entry is made in the journal outlining what you have done. It will look something like this...
MU-T 100 1 EA 00-10-006 BATTERY,ELT-ARTEX BD0014 A3C *** N/A ***
MU-T - Material Usage - Transferred out
100 - Base transferred to...
1 - How Many
EA - Unit of Measure
00-10-006 - Part Number
BATTERY,ELT-ARTEX - Part Description
BD0014 - Aircraft charged against
A3C - Parts location where it came from
*** N/A *** - Serial number if applicable
You can always look at the Material Usage transfer history to get a reading of what you have done. The journal information is only valid as long as it does not get deleted.
