File Statistics

From many screens within BDM you can press the key sequence [ALT-F12] to get a list of all data files associated with the current work area. Press [ENTER] on the file your interested in and a file statistic screen will be presented to you. The data breakout is as follows:

Workarea - A work area alias and number (internal to BDM)

Record Count - How many records are in the table

File Size - The size in bytes of the table file

Last Updated - When was the file last updated when opened

Table Name - The physical table name

Current Record - What record (physical, not logical) is current
