Q. I had to create my aircraft TLMC with a model that really was not exact, what can I do now?
A. You probably had a “BL”, “BW” or one of those “Air Force” aircraft that was turned over to the ARMY. To correct this situation go to the ACMASTER list [CTRL-F1] and type in the correct model (ACMC field) for the affected aircraft (overwriting the model that it was created with) and then run the TLMC processor. This will update your aircraft to the specification of the correct aircraft. You need to be aware that many new records will probably appear. You should save your aircraft data first, then print a hard copy of the TLMC and compare the old to the new. The reason that you need to update the new records might be the correct inspection frequency, but they will be the wrong “RI” number. Always update the new “RI’s” instead of the old ones.
Q. When I try to look at a specific TLMC BDM reports that the master does not match?
A. The file set you are looking at has lost it version stamp. You will need to run the processor to re-stamp the TLMC file. If this happens often, notify computer services.
