Receipts and Issues. When you select the key combination [ALT-R] you will be prompted with a dialog box. This box wants a date (called a filter date) to call on. It is defaulted to the current day. Entering a day will bring up any transactions that occurred. If no transactions occurred then you will be prompted to print off a “NO TRANSACTIONS FOUND” print out.
When parts are found you can press the [F2] key to print. This printed report is then faxed into IDC in Madison.
When parts are NOT found you need to print off a NO TRANSACTIONS FOUND report and fax it in.
In all cases... Your site needs to keep a daily report (including weekends). IDC expects to have a daily report regardless if parts were used or not. They will use these reports to generate transaction data on the Mainframe in Wichita.
Reports should be printed on the following day. For instance, if today is Wednesday, you should print Wednesdays report on Thursday. This will give enough time for all transactions to be processed at your site.
If you are processing old data or trying to correct a problem and enter data for a previous date you must run a new Receipts and Issues report and notify Madison and fax the new copy in. This is very important because the faxed data is what gets entered into the mainframe computer.
You should understand the instructions listed above. If you have any questions please notify IDC, they are here to help you.
